It is not new in Indian film history to produce movies on the real life story of film stars. Long ago, Mani Ratnam directed ‘Iddaru’, on the life history of MG Ramachandran. Recently, a movie was made on the life story of Sreevidya, an actress of yester years, who passed away few months. Now, Ektha Kapoor is planning to produce a movie on the life of late Silk Smitha, whose role will be palyed by Mallika Sherawat. Smitha’s life is another tragedy in the history of Tollywood.
